Good day everyone, alchemist werewolf here~

Which do you think is more interesting and why?

1. Drawing mostly random different characters.
2. Drawing mostly OC. (Same characters)

OC. I prefer characters that I have some familiarity than a generic and faceless dude

I just like random when they fit more a mob role. Like those enemies from RPG. They are generic, but you face they a lot during your adventure.

Hmm yeah, I get your point. Like the main shot is the OC, then the mobs should be randomly generated.

Either can be interesting, but sometimes if you repeatedly draw certain OCs (not always the same one, but rotating among a cast of them), they will develop a fan following of their own and will become more popular over time.

I see, it's better to introduce our OC too so people will know them rather than going to hype over a character that will never appear again.

Personally I like OCs, but I think striking a good balance would allow you to perfect your style with your OC, and experiment with different body types and beasts with randomers.
Regardless, I'd be happy if you kept drawing the same characters, they are pretty hot!

I'd say do your OC more often. I like seeing familiar faces develop and bound than just one off dudes we never see again. You can still do other characters every now and again for variety, but I do like to see your OCs bound up

Overfocusing on one of these will almost always be a hindrance, in my opinion (although a minor one). Both have their place and use. Character variety is an outlet for being creative with designs, and if you have a lot of character variety you can then use the same character in specific artworks and your fanbase will recognize it. A good example of this on FA is Korbin. A lot of character variety won't let you develop each character fully, though.

In the end, I'm happy seeing what the artist wants to create; that's what matters the most. :)

I'm going to vote for OC since it's easier to build up a world that way. With random characters is harder to make clear there's continuity or any connection between scenes. Though having a new character added every once in a while would likely help keep it fresh. Happy to give more thoughts if you'd want.

Drawing mostly OC, it builds a connection with the audience, develops a story and you can watch them grow, which is always interesting. Seeing some random characters from time to time can be cool to see what other things you can come up with. But for me OCs rule

I think a combination of both is nice, for example experimenting with new and random characters, but also showing some familiar faces from time to time. so thinks stay fresh, but people have also some main characters to relate to.

As much I'm more into 2.... but yeah, tried to go to 1.

Lets just say... to make my hands remember how my other OC will be, kinda frustrated sometimes forget how they look and all, and open old art references, all in all, its fun to make who's not my main OC.
hopefully I'm not forgetting them, lmao.

Emang enakan random character sih biar beda juga bodo amat kan emang beda orang huehue, cuman ya... biasanya kurang berbekas di orang2 karna gonta-ganti wkwk
