You have any idea how much my life would suck if my parents saw that episode? Pretty much, nobody can wear a fursuit in public now.

I don't claim I'm normal. Shit man, I'm kinky as hell. But I keep that stuff in the bedroom, and among friends. Not on national TV.

I had my share of the world laughing at me back in public school. Is it too much to ask to have one of the things I enjoy most in my life just... left alone?

The stuff you want kept private can still be kept private if you so choose to keep it like that. It's -your- decision whether you want to blare out to every person curious about your lifestyle. Why you would want to tell your parents about being a furry is beyond me. And man, it'll never be left alone. You can either choose to accept it, or complain. You can enjoy the fandom, but you have to realize -what you've done-. Haha.

PROTIP: People usually don't know who someone inside a fursuit! It's the perfect disguise!

First half: I don't have to blare it out. Chewfox did it for me on TV. Made no effort to give the slighest indication she wasn't talking about ALL furries. That's why I'm pissed. I would have -tolerated- it quietly if she'd said once "No, not all furries are into this, this is just something we like to do". Now everyone thinks I have sex in fursuit, and that's great.

And nobody understands why I told my parents. It's my business, yes it was stupid, but what's done is done.
