Chapter 2 is out.
Yo.
It's out.
I had to keep things to my deadlines and release it. Even if I feel it could always have been better and more polished with another week or two, there could have been more fun vore events or triggers. Many I have half-written that await implementation.
But even if I had the time, I have also run out of steam. I may yet edit and add them in later in the weeks to come, or put them in for Chapter 3.

You can hop straight to Chapter 2 and play if you want, you'll get some base stats but some hidden triggers based on Chapter 1 choices might not trigger.
Enjoy! Do leave me feedback, good and bad, I want to hear it. It all helped from Chapter 1 and I saved it all into a big file that I reviewed closely as I made Chapter 2. Your words spurred me on to make this, so thank you all for reading. Chapter 1 has seen some small updates too, pictures and events have been altered in minor ways. Though I am ashamed to say I have not had time to go through the spelling. Chapter 2 is hopefully slightly better on this front.
Forgive its faults, I am but one person, but don't be afraid to let me know I made them. I'll be bug fixing critical flaws detected on the fly as they get reported that me and my beta readers might have missed.
Speaking of beta readers. BIG thank you to:

Your beta feedback was very helpful!
Edit:
Thank you to everyone to contributed to the Awe design competition. I am still accepting designs, but it's getting harder to squeeze new characters in. I may well still adopt good designs onto of existing characters that need some fleshing out.
Be aware that I had to cut a intended portion of Chapter 2 and leave it for Chapter 3 instead. All guest characters that were chosen will get their time to shine eventually, but I did not have room for everyone in this chapter.
There might still a page of Aweworld style faces from the recent submissions, but it will come later.
I have lots of plans for Chapter 3. I do not quite know when I will have time to work on it. Perhaps later this year. It would be extremely optimistic to say it would release this year. Time is money.
But I can probably get quite a distance on it before the year is over. For now, outside small fixes, I am taking a break.

I will be sure to play it several times later tonight.
I'm also curious since it's been long enough with chapter 1 if you have any guides available to point to all the more well-hidden content? Curious to see if there are any more obscure branches there I've missed, haha.
As for guides. Maybe. I mean, its a lot of work in itself to do. But I've thought about having a gallery of sorts where you perhaps unlock pictures and gets hints how to unlock/find others.
Feels like there's a bit of wonkiness with how saves are carried over, I've seen Arn on chapter two after going through a playthrough where he was tragically digested in chapter 1. It's possible I didn't manually save at the end of chapter 1 and it took an earlier save for my chapter 2 playthrough at that point? I also had a scenario where I had Garsch as an option twice in the same choice for I believe Navpoint 2. Couldn't get it to repeat unfortunately.
On bugs, part of me wonders if it would be more technically viable to port this to something along the lines of Ren'py, but there's a few systems in the game that I'm uncertain of how to transfer over. It does seem like a majority of the issues would stem from the game being split over a series of webpages as opposed to a complete package, but I've no idea how the back-end looks and most of my technical knowledge comes from dicking around in Unity, so it's entirely likely I'm just a moron~ Considering the work that's gone into this system already I'd err on the side of sticking with it as it is anyway.
Overall, lovely time, I like trying to find the endings, and it's also interesting to see just how much you can get away with at times! Gem of a game, going to have to shove it in some people's faces.
I am sure the saves are pretty wonky still. The Save button operates by cookies and page stats by localstorage saves, so you seeing Arn again might just be because you somehow moved to the local storage stats of a previous play-through. It's supposed to overwrite them as you go along though.
I am certain the way the game is built is by far extremely suboptimal. I really have no frame of reference to the 'right way' to do things. Pretty sure if a web-developer had a look at it they'd get a stroke.
Aweworld started out in a pretty basic prebuilt engine, not too unlike Ren'py just more basic and I kept chafing at the limitations. I wanted the freedom of 'If I can imagine it, I want to make'. So I started to build my own from scratch with 0 knowledge of anything.
Now with posterity in mind, I really wish I had started with Unity or something, but I guess I never quite suspected it'd get as big as it got.
I do think it would be possible to port the game to Unity still, though I'm uncertain of the workload required and whether the payoff would be worth it. My husband and I are making a text-based game in Unity, but he's doing most of the dev-work right now so I'm a bit uncertain as to how it all works. I just know you can do it, unfortunately. Porting over the assets and text should be easy enough, but the UI and logic I'm a little more worried about. Either way, you're doing fantastic as far as I can tell so don't worry too much about my dumb ass, lol. Most important is to just get the project out, after all!
I had one slightly more explosive song playing when I wrote the fleet battle for the most part. Its 'Two Steps From Hell - To Glory'
