Commissions Over
I've refunded the last of the commissions. The Streak ends at 318.
I've been in a rut and I'm on the border of quitting art. I've lost my passion. I may or may not get it back. Just really really bummed I can't seem to draw fun and creative drawings beyond "character standing in place" drawings. I see alot of great drawings and wonder "Why i should bother?." But enough of that for now.
Don't sent a note asking for a commission. I'm closed.

Take a breather, a long one.
Ya need it after religiously doing commissions for years on end.
Force yourself to draw stuff you're not good at if you wanna improve, draw perspectives and all, try to get into fisheye perspective too.
Just draw chill stuff really, doesn't has to be full color when you're practicing!
Maybe this'll brighten up your day a little, I've gotten all the stuff I got from you printed on canvas and hung them up in my living room and enjoy them every day. You're a great artist and have a wonderful style.
Stay awesome and stay healthy <3
it can take a lot of creative energy to do art all the time, and I saw you pumping out pictures like crazy over at one point. I find creating a stress free and relaxing environment, working out a bit and having some good healthy food usually gets me feeling really good and ready to tackle a work day of drawing. Add in fresh air and I feel like I can think and create.
I could imagine it may not feel so great refunding people and feeling like you need to stop but it is understandable, hopefully you find a new spark of what interests you.
Many artist have a hard time doing commissions for a living either as their main job or on the side, however, it does not need to be a painful job and can be made into a really nice and relaxing one when you get everything to line up just right :)
As far as other great drawings out there and the whole feeling of "why bother", you draw art because there is something inside of you that wants to, just because other people are further along the path doesn't mean you should just give up.
You are the only person in the world to draw like you do, and you add to a larger community, many people love your work and would not commission if they didn't :)
so while on one hand you may see a picture which is in your eyes way better than you could do at this time, I say keep going, use it as inspiration and let it guide you, and one day make a picture better than that :)
I often fine it is the mental side of art creation that is over looked by many, there is almost no limit to how someone can improve, and that side of art has nothing to do with pen and paper or computers.
I would hope you keep drawing in come capacity, but do what you feel is best, I have always enjoyed your work and think it would be a shame if you just stopped <=)
Art isn't only able to be a great job, it can also be a great career.
It can also be a just for fun thing and anything in-between :)
please have a good day, stay safe and take care.
If your claim is about poses, go pick a book or something.
In the internet age... :P C'mon!
Stop wanking, your art's still great.
Go inspire yourself elsewhere. In the end, up to you.
don't let that mother fucker bully you into quitting something that you used to love. maybe you just need time to think and maybe go out to find something different for a while until you find your inspiration again.
either way i sure hope that things start to get brighter for you, in fact, I Know it will! just keep your chin up.
We all get burned out from time to time, I know I have been and its good to just step away from it all and give yourself your own form of love and attention. Whatever path you choose to take from here on just know people like me support you in anyway possible, and if you choose to return back to art, we will be overjoyed to hear from ya again. Maybe on your break you can open yourself to new experiences that will help your creative spark blossom and gain you new visions to what you want to do as an artist, either way, don't ever feel bad about the stuff you have done so far. I watched you since the beginning and you improved leaps and bounds over the years and have been genuinely impressed with how great you have become as you pumped out art since first spotting you, some of my favorite pieces of art I ever seen has been done by you.
I hope in some way this at least reaches your eyes, and hope maybe you can consider the support people have been giving ya in the comment section, I do know taking a siesta from this art-form can be the best thing to do in times of high stress such as these, just be know we will be happy to see you return to form when you do come back.
Please take care of yourself, friend.
Plankboy, for the love of god dont quit but take a breather! I cant stand the thought of you joining the vast artist graveyard. Take a vacation and rest but please, one day come back and keep going on your own terms.
I would hate to remember this Christmas season as the year we lost Plankboy.

Hopefully oneday you can come back and give it another chance.. Giving loads of hugs and support!
