Looks like 2020 is turning out to be a bit of a bust in con terms. The current Covid-19 crisis has seen a large amount of events either cancelled or postponed, and who knows when it’ll be safe to resume normal life.
ConFuzzled isn’t happening.
I was half tempted to pop over to Berlin for EF but that may end up being cancelled, too. Besides, not sure if I want to fly anywhere at all this year.
There’s a furmeet scheduled for July in Llandudno that I’d like to attend but stuff like social distancing may still be in effect at that point.
So I’m thinking the Manchester and London winter parties towards the end of the year might be the best things to aim for.
But, in these uncertain times, who knows?

I was scheduled to go to FE last month, and I think that was the first major con casualty of the pandemic. Getting everything rebooked, refunded, or just flat-out cancelled was a huge hassle, and so I'd recommend steering clear of flights for events later in the year for the time being, if you can help it. UK-based events should be alright, but until there's a widely-available vaccine or widespread herd immunity, I imagine we can expect large public gatherings to be off the table for a while. Still, that gives incentive to make 2021's con season the very best it can be! :)

Hard to say about AC. It’s only three months away and while the peak of the virus will have probably passed by then, there still might be rules against big cons or restrictions on travel. So who knows.
