It's like everybody's dying these days...what's up with that?

I am so glad somebody posted a journal about this. I've always listened to Peter, Paul & Mary. My mother actually woke me up by telling me that she passed. She was crying all morning. I'm deeply saddened by this.

Apparently my sister told her teacher that Mary had died during a "current events" portion of her history class. The teacher's response: "Wasn't she an actress or soemthing?" What is this world coming to? RIP Mary. <3

yeah I was totally crushed when I heard the news too. Folk music has always been my favorite, it's inspired me so much with my art. And to hear one of my favorite bands member die? It was shocking and a bit painful.

this hit me harder than any of the recent celebrity deaths - not many had such a profound impact on my life, my brain, and how how absorb all music. she will be sorely missed. :C
