I am trying to figure out the problem with my cintiq (seems that the pen is broken, but I DO HOPE that the issue is something else). Also drawing my debts, but am much slower due to malfunctioning.
Also! If you've ever faced the problem with the cintiq pens, when they suddenly start drawing lines when you are just holding the pen above the screen without touching it or completely ignore your clicking the screen and found out how to fix this, please let me know. :c

Open tablet driver -> About -> diagnose and check pen pressure when lifting the pen. If not touching the tablet, pressure should be close to zero. If not: pull out the nib, wipe it clean and put it back in, go to pen tip feel 'configure' settings and increase the value for click pressure treshold. If diagnostic still shows the problem, the pen should be repaired or exchanged.

If the pen is drawing while hovering, this could the sensor of the tip of the pen is stuck, what you normally do to fix it is remove the nib and let the pen rest for 24 hours without the nib so that the sensor can reset itself.
