Hello.
I know I'm not the most social person on the planet, but I hope everyone's been staying safe and keeping in touch with friends and loved ones. We need that now more than ever. I am plagued with insomnia, so this is as good of time as any for me to talk with you all, if at all possible. So, let's chat. About whatever: games we're playing, stories we're reading or writing, art we're making or getting, life, the list goes on.
How've you been?

Going okay for the most part - It's week 4 of home office/isolation and from the looks of it, this will continue for quite some more time. :/ Still, time to keep up with some writing, art and all that jazz ^^

Gah, that's rough. But at least you're safe and sound at home. I've still been going to work (S. Korea) and teaching, but everything's been moved online. Online classes sort of blend together after a while and I really miss having a full classroom and doing fun activities with my students. At the end of the day I'm just talking to a monitor. ;/ Ah well. What have you been working on?

Doing game Development! And yeah, I feel you. Sometimes days are kind of just blending together and I forgot what day it is, what time it is, if I had lunch yet etc. I miss those just like... Standing with coworkers in the kitchen and drinking some coffee and bitching about the development system being poop or whatever. Now it's just kinda me... And a screen. And sometimes a camera.

Yeah, my students really want to go back to school and hang out their friends again. I feel for them most of all. We more or less still have a routine but we mostly stick to our classrooms instead of mingling between classes and the days don't really matter much now. It's either weekday or weekend. Funny how it screws with our heads like that. I hoe game development has been going well despite all of this!

Yeah, it's going well enough, really. Companies like mine who can work mostly in Home Office are not super affected. It's more the social contacts and well-being of the employees that's sort of an issue. I hope for all of us that we can find a good solution soon!

I've been playing the hell out of Modern Warfare and opened up some side hustle on top of the day job. Finally started putting some writing down for The Story. Life's all good, but I am looking forward to this virus blowing over.

Sweet. I've been playing Bannerlord a lot instead of writing. Despite being early access as heck it's quite enjoyable. Good luck working on The Story!

Imo, M&B was always so barebones it never really felt as if it had left early access, even though it was complete with 2 expanded versions. I'm right at home :)

For sure, vanilla Warband is a very barebones game which has features that were never fixed (horse archers) though its sheer modability greatly extended its lifespan addressed said issues. Here's hoping for total conversion mods.
