Whenever I come across someone who's been suddenly inactive that I follow, I start to become a tad bit worried. They haven't made any sort of post anywhere saying why they suddenly disappeared, they left without a word, they've done nothing to show any signs of activity. I feel worried because what if something happened to them? It's impossible to know. Then all of a sudden, out-of-the-blue, they reemerge and say something along the lines of, "Sorry for my sudden absence."

Like, I get that there are some things in life that you can't share, some things that are much more urgent than posting art or making a video, but it wouldn't kill you to say something that tells us you're fine or that you're not in some horrible accident. The reason for the hiatus may be personal and we have no right to know why you're taking a break, but it would put a lot of people at ease if you at least said that you are taking a break rather than just disappearing without a word.
