Okay, so I know I'm well over a year late to this particular party...but hot damn, did I finally get my hands on the game Tetris Effect for PC! And let me tell you, this game is described by one person as "eye music" and he isn't wrong. The graphics, the details, certainly the music and sound effects...it's so psychadelic and it really pulls you in. I've seen many iterations of Tetris over the years. And while some have given the iconic game a nice enough spin at times, Effect manages to outright "reinvent the wheel" with it. My only regret is I don't have a VR headset to experience it in 3D...though I may rectify that one day, once I can save up some money.

I played it for an hour or so, and already I managed to achieve the coveted Decahexatris. Got as far as the next to last set of levels in the game, which was surprising, even on normal difficulty. It was weird to see the speed of the falling blocks actually decrease at times instead of only increasing. It let me enjoy the game longer than usual. Clearly, the developers knew what they were doing.

Anyway, I was curious to know who else has played it and what your thoughts are on it?
