I got older today! This is me indulging in my once-a-year right to make a journal basically just saying "hey, look at me!"
I'm alone for this one and feeling a little sad about it, so I'd appreciate whatever messages or such you can send me. c:

Now, for an update of what the cat's up to!
Speaking with a few (not all) of my regulars, it sounds like a lot of you are having some financial uncertainties right now and aren't sure if you can hit up my next opening. Between that and my general slow pace lately (I've been in a bit of a rut) I've decided to push my queue opening until sometime in May. I'm thinking maybe the second or third week so I can finish most of my current queue first.
That said, have you been trying to come up with an idea? Or maybe you've got one and want to know what I think about it? I'd be happy to hear from you and help you work it out, and can put you on an unofficial waitlist to make sure I poke you when it's opening time!

While I don't listen to "normal" music while I'm working on my characters and settings, I do listen to a lot of soundtracks. I'm not sure if that's your kind of music though, haha. What kind of music (if any) do you listen to while you work? :3
One of the things I've been listening to lately is the soundtrack of the HBO Chernobyl miniseries. It has a really unique, tense, and eerie atmosphere to it, so maybe that'd be right up your alley?
