Twitter is dying, and they know it. They tried to have it both ways, touting their ToS for even minor infractions by average users whilst simultaneously outright refusing hold "verified" VIP accounts to any standard at all, and were genuinely surprised when this resulted in millions of people deleting their Twitter apps and using one of any number of competing messengers.

The only reason they are still relevant -- still in existence -- at all is because they are still the #1 preferred venue for unfiltered, unverified "alternative facts" straight from the mouth of America's wealthiest hemorrhoid.

Once he's gone, Twitter will soon follow.
