A Spring Update/No Cons Upcoming
Hey all! Just wanted to have a quick update to whats been happening in Castle Fenrir the past month or so. It's been crazy times.
and I have been staying safe. We don't get out very much, except to get groceries and to do a daily exercise walk around the neighborhood. It's been a little maddening, being stuck in these walls all the time, but its for the safety of us and everyone else. I've been seeing that the risk of contracting COVID-19 is doubled under a variety of pre-existing conditions, one being hypertension, which I was diagnosed with last year, so I'm trying to take as few risks as possible.
I've been very sad about not being able to play D&D with my friends in person. It's something that I feel defines me as a person, but with the stay-at-home orders and half my party working in hospitals or grocery stores, that's a risk none of us want to take. We did do our first game via Discord over the weekend, and it went reasonably well all things considered, so we'll be doing that for the time being. Perhaps I might even get a game or two streamed, and maybe some one-shots where I'll have potentially some of my friends and watchers play. All depends on how my spoons recharge.
I've been trying to churn out a lot of artwork over the quarantine. I think I've been doing ok on that front. I'm very thankful for everyone who's commissioned me within the past month. You all are awesome!
I also just saw the news today that Anthrocon 2020 is cancelled. With that, all current convention plans of ours have been shuttered. I haven't begun planning for Midwest Furfest yet, but I'm of the mindset that it might be too soon to guarantee it still happening. I hope it does, but there's always the possibility of this situation worsening and it too being cancelled. We shall see.
I hope everyone reading this is safe and healthy. I will be devastated if any of you get sick. Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay as positive as possible if you can. These are tough times, and it's ok to feel sad or scared. You are all doing great!
Til next time, peace out!

Thanks for the update. It's nice to see how friends are doing. I am glad you are safe, too, and not completely bored. I have been getting home projects done that I have wanted to do for years, but with limited supplies, some projects are at least started. Until the next con, keep furrying on!
