Unexpected Delays (on commissions/owed art)

I am currently Closed for Commissions So I'm writing this quick journal to say that for most of this month there's been some unexpected delays. I'll explain some but mostly I wanted to apologize to my commissioners on the delays. While I cannot control the circumstances, I am sorry that it has affected my work schedule and by proxy, your commissions being completed on the schedule I'd set in place. But do not worry, I won't be opening for any May Slots until I have completed my current list (or at least have it down to only 1-2 I owe).
Expected all currently owed commissions to be completed within May (likely mid-may roughly). I will still be working and trying to catch back up. Some commissions will be completed today and friday, but please just be patient with me as I work through this.
As for what caused these delays, initially it was getting back into routine after my week-off for Animal Crossing's release. That transitioning week had been a little hard but by midway through I was back in the swing of things. And if that had been the only delay, we'd have been back in full swing weeks ago. But unfortunately, it wasn't. A close friend of mine, who had recently moved, moved back down and has been pulling me into her drama for the last few weeks. This drama has severely affected my mental health and interrupted my working schedule most days these past couple of weeks. Which has all but halted my progress... So again, while I couldn't control this circumstances, I do apologize that it has slowed down my work and thrown me off schedule.
This friend has decided with little to no warning that they are moving back away again so they can be happy. And while I had advised against it, there's nothing I can do about it. So this week particularly has been a roller coaster of emotions on my end as well. But after the next couple of days, she will be moved once again and I will return back to my normal working schedule. Hopefully cranking out art much quicker.
In the meantime, I appreciate your patience and understanding.
