It seems like just yesterday I learned of the unexpected passing of one of my pets, now today I was called to let me know that my 26 year old cat has been put down. He was in good health until about a week ago, so I was told.
So I think understandably, I'm going to take a few days off to collect myself. I'll appreciate your patience in this time.
Mikey was older than me. From my oldest memories he was there. It's always hard to lose a pet, especially lifelong ones.
Please, if you have pets, give them love for me.

So sorry to hear that. It's always hard to lose a lifelong companion like that. Even when you know it is going to happen sometime, you can never truly prepare for it. Especially when it happens suddenly. At least small solace is that he lived a very long and I'm sure very good life.
