80,000+ deaths ... in the 2018 flu season
5 years ago
I bet you never heard that before this whole pandemic thing, did you?
ya know 2018 probably rolled around. You probably got infected, and thought nothing of it.
and still, 80,000 deaths happened.
So where was the panic porn then?
where was the shut down?
Why is there a- oh wait, it's election year.
duh.

The flu has not required hospitals to transport the dead in refrigerated tractor trailers or make use of mass graves as they've had to do in New York for unclaimed bodies.
NY has a designated mass graves burial site year round. The way you're stating it implies that HOLY FUCK, WE'RE UP TO ARE BALLS IN DEAD WE'RE JUST BLACK PLAGUE DUMPING THEM. No, this is how NYC always deals with unclaimed bodies. It's not new to the situation.
What's more disgusting about this scenario is that the lockdown is preventing family members from having proper funerals for their loved ones. If someone dies in a hospital, the family can't claim the body because that would require non-essential travel. So it gets processed as all unclaimed bodies do - into the NY designated mass grave site.
So thanks to the government, the grieving are deprived of their opportunity to say goodbye to their loved ones and now they have to go to the burial location for the masses.
also about HOLY FUCK, THE NEWS PEOPLE'S PANIC PORN TOLD US THE HOSPITALS WOULD OVERFLOW IN THEIR PROJECTIONS SO IT MUST BE TRUE

If the hospitals are overflowing ... why are there layoffs?
Why are hospitals telling their employees to not work?
I mean... that would indicate the exact opposite of an overflowed hospital. Lack of demand meaning hospitals can't pay their staff meaning that the hospitals DIDN'T get overflowed.
Plus, an easy search will get you interviews with coroners who are stating they're being pressured to test for Corona on the dead. It doesn't matter if the person was a lifelong chain smoker, if they had corona it's a CORONA DEATH. ... which entails you should be skeptical of those numbers.
And to make matters worse, you have an entire nation who's been in isolation for the past 2 months. When you're in isolation you're not heading out, which means you have a weakened immune system (because that's how immune systems work, to an extent it's like working out your muscles). So you have people with weakened immune systems going out when hospitals are on layoffs ... that's a recipe for disaster.
and another thing, because you've shown all the trademark staples of a sheep

yes, NYC requested 35,000 ventilators.
... they only used 5,000.
that doesn't add up. I bet you didn't know that.
Here's the kicker ...
this is the first time you've ever said anything to me
and it's to tell me the bullshit news that I know isn't entirely accurate.
If you follow the trend of people who only comment when they're outraged, you're going to throw a bigot card at me or get revenge by reporting my submissions. I'd honestly prefer you count this as a "moral victory, he refused to talk to me so that must mean I won" so that you don't irritate me again with your rambling.
As for hospital layoffs, that's coming as a result of hospitals "as a business". Hospitals make most of their money on outpatient and elective services, since those are currently being deferred hospitals are not making bank like they usually do, so they're letting go of staff as a business practice.
Per fact checker: NYC is using 6,500 of their available ventilators, and has estimates of needing up to 30,000 should things really explode. It has reserves, but still less than 10K.https://www.usatoday.com/story/news.....rs/5097170002/
I would discourage using Fox as a reference, the reporting they present is extremely biased and geared toward sensationalism.
Anyway, you don't seem to be seeking or willing to listen to dissenting opinions of any kind, so I will not attempt to discuss further. Be well.
Sorta related to the ventilator thing, I like how this video explains how these covid19 models and projections work: https://youtu.be/TqzicvDVcKg
