Just so it is known, slow internet. *it's fixed now*

General
Just letting those who care know, right now the internet in my house is really slow for some reason.
I can respond to stuff on FA but it takes a bit.
I already tried both resetting our modem and unplugging every wire from it and plugging everything back in, but there was no change.
So I cannot access Discord right now, I am unable to watch streams on Twitch, so things aren't fun right now. =U
So yeah, if I don't respond to any messages right now that is why.

FA+

Service degradation or outages sometimes occur because of vandalism, people deliberately damaging equipment that's used to deliver internet, television, and telephone services to residences.
There's actually been an increase in such vandalism because of conspiracy theory and hysteria that 5G wireless towers are causing coronovirus, which they aren't. Telecoms engineers trying to install or maintain equipment, even unrelated to 5G, have been suffering abuse because of it.
I wonder if anything like that is happening over in Alabama too?
FA fortunately is a pretty lightweight site when you aren't checking submissions, so you can still access it on a degraded connection sometimes.
What with quarantine and everything going on it's making some people powdered kegs and some people are likely bursting.
Not sure if anything like that is going on in Alabama.
Oh yeah, just takes like 5-10 seconds to load a page thanks to the slowness.
But yeah, there have always been people who are anxious and proactively disruptive, even without tensions.
I've also seen that there are people exercising their right to protest, protesting the lockdown, when such behaviour are only going to make the situation worse.
Yeah, that's pretty bad for a lightweight page, but at least you aren't cut-off entirely.
Yeah, I hear tell in Alabama they are slowly trying to allow places to open with social distancing and max capacity rules, so it could also be that businesses are getting back online and the sudden influx of data usage could be causing issue. But I have no idea.
Well that time may not be accurate, it could be less time, but more than usual for sure.
It may be many weeks yet until lockdown is relaxed in the UK. Some people might return to work, but a lot of businesses that don't need to work from an office may continue to operate from home.
Some businesses cannot operate from home, those such will see an increase in electric and internet usage again. Otherwise, those that shifted from the workplace to home will just see a shift in where those resources are being used.
Like at 7:10PM my time is just suddenly went back to normal.
Technology. =P
