In general, though, being that close to the goddess is to be considered a great honor and it's arguably the safest place in Creation to be in. What is Godsblood and the Well of Eternity, and how did Killer/Alexis get their penultimate powerup at the end of the story, after everything in your setting got wiped out?

In short, to give away as little as possible. Apocalypse ends up happening, but Killer absorbs everything that was into himself, preventing the complete end of it all. He brings Alexis back as his first, overwhelming wish and intent. And Alexis brings back everything else, all of Creation on the tip of her finger, having been re-born imbued with almost the same level of power as Killer himself.

Got it! I really do hope you are able to find chapters 50-100. I personally want to learn more about your setting, even if some of the characters are not to my tastes.
