the virus can live on plastic surfaces for 3 days
you can't show up in a park to tell the government they're being stupid...
but it's totally fine to funnel thousands of people through the same grocery store where everyone's breathing and touching the same plastic materials.
especially given we've found out the virus can be passed airborne, and the effectiveness of masks is ... honestly bullshit

ya know... the one place you DON'T want to send a person with a highly contagious disease that affects the elderly

Let's compare this to a trip down to Costco
PROTEST ACTIVITIES
- stand around, chant, draw attention
- If you're lucky there's 100 person turn out, usually there isn't more than that
COSTCO (for shiggles, let's do this at peak rush hour)
- Stand outside in a line with 100 other people
- enter a building that a couple thousand other people have already entered
- remember that the virus can live for up to 3 days on plastic surfaces. buy everything in this warehouse because it's wrapped in plastic because that's what they have
- fool yourself into believing that masks and gloves protect you (they kinda don't)
- spend up to an hour in this building with easily 200 other people
- remember that scary cgi animation? the one that showed a single cough spreading over 3 aisles in a store ... you're breathing that in through your cloth mask that isn't really effective
- Also all that air is getting pumped through the AC and recirculated back to you
- then you have to wait in another line (well, set of 12 lines) each with 20 other people and you all funnel out towards the singular exit
- realize that you're not going to go full howard hughes when you get home and that you have to refrigerate your food, so you're putting that corona virus infected plastics into your fridge
...

THEY'RE THE REAL THREAT TO AMERICA!

yeah, I'm calling bullshit on you.
There's a wealth of things less dangerous than costco that are currently not being allowed ... and a lot of things that ARE being allowed.
You start looking at what is and isn't allowed, it stops making sense from a medical standpoint. ... it also starts raising questions as to why these exceptions are falling the way they are.
