hi, just a mild but upsetting update re: production times and such

my car was broken into yesterday (5/8) and some really important, sentimental things were stolen, as well as my driving glasses, some petty cash, my car registration, a visor band, and my insurance card. i can get back the reg and insurance stuff (or at least have copies mailed) but the things they took with no Real World value hurt more than anything. I spent the morning crying and having a really bad panic attack. this is the second time something's happened to my car *ever*, and all within a month of each other.

i took today off, and will most likely be taking tomorrow and possibly sunday off as well. my car is my Baby and was my first step into freedom, and having stuff i really cared about emotionally taken out of her is really devastating.

our landlords also made it very clear that even if we feel unsafe, we will not get our deposit back if we break lease early, despite the car break-ins and threatening hateful ass neighbors. :o) so i'm having a tough time!!

anyways, things should comfortably resume by monday. i will not be sending out invoices until i finish sketches, to avoid clogging up my queue with stuff I haven't touched yet.
