I'm still Here and Doing Better
So I realized I haven't posted a journal in a while and with how crazy things have been this year for...well, pretty much everybody, I figured it was a good time to post a new one. First off, the stuff with the Pandemic. I've been alright; been keeping safe and careful not to catch the virus. My work as a delivery driver for DoorDash has proven remarkably profitable during the previous months as I've picked up groceries for people and delivered for those who couldn't or wouldn't go outside. The only hiccups that have come up with work were when I was rear ended in a grocery parking lot and traded my old car in for my parents' Honda Fit nicknamed “The Tardis.” Like everybody else, I do find it frustrating about how this pandemic has thrown a wrench into any social plans beyond the borders of my county and limited certain things I could do or go to but I hope that this might not last too much longer and that I'll be able to visit with other people outside of my immediate family again soon.
For those who might not be aware, my girlfriend :nichan: has gotten a bit better. Some of her physical therapy has been halted due to the pandemic but her motor skills have improved well enough that she can use her tablet to interact with the internet. She and I chat almost regularly over Discord right now. It's made things much more bearable...along with a new addition to my family.
Around the end of April, my Grandma and I went to a local shelter and adopted a cat. Her name is Luna, she's a 9 yr old black/brown tabby and I've been taking care of her for the most part. She mostly has stayed upstairs in my rooms and has taken living in my study. She's helped me keep some sanity to a degree to take care of her.
I'm currently working on pics and will hopefully post some stuff soon. Look forward to it.

OP
The rear ending wasn't the worst thing. I wasn't hurt, the person who backed into me wasn't hurt and the car I was driving was more than 10 years old. I needed a newer car and my folks were kind of looking for a new one anyway, so they got a newer car(same model, different year) and I got their old one which is a nice upgrade. Thank you for your concern though and good wishes. Stay safe and healthy.

thanksies and that good to hear but it still a bit of a jumpscare when something like that happens in the moment and all u hear is a crunch of sorts n bounce a bit from the impact plus always gotta worry about insurance if the other guy wants it and u dont wanna raise ur stuff cause of it. i always worry about the insurance part the most cause it means less money in the bank when u need it for other things.
