Progress has DEFINITELY been made to get the art thieves shut down.
With our combined effort, the thieves that
and 
had discovered stealing their art and other's art as well have been deactivated and or shut down. WHICH IS AWESOME!
The art thieves that were discovered by

are still up and still need to be shut down.

The last time I saw something like this came up, it was here on F.A., and we got him suspended, not by pointing out that all of his submissions were in other galleries, but by pointing out the phrase "I'm an art thief" in his profile description.
It's not limited to online either. I once helped thwart a beer run by simple virtue of the fact that the thief was standing in the doorway screaming at the clerk that he was a [insert racial slurs and vulgarities here] because just running away with the beer wasn't good enough for him.
