Just for fun, but please play it'll be fun! Trust me!

Well, it's not a raffle or anything like that. I'm not to that point just yet. I need to wind down a bit to get away from the college mindset.
Anyhow, leave your favorite fursona (your own) and tell me about them! I'd love to know how you came up with them and what inspired you to create them! Even if they're based on you completely! Then tell me! Show me if you have a picture... Or just tell me about them if you don't!!
I want to get back to connecting with everyone again!

It is fairly difficult to truly explain. I am otherkin and Mehl is the spiritual part of me. I don't refer Mehl as a separate entity to myself. I am Mehl and she is me.
Granted art wise I generally go off my more furry variation. Nothing aesthetically different outside of having magic, a gem in the forehead, and an addiction for transformation. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/13057180/
He's you classic grey wolf with a few interesting quirks. One he has a glaringly obvious Cybernetic eye. And Two he is Electrokinetic.
Creating my fursona was kinda arduous and he went though several changes before I settled on who he is now, at one time he was a Fox named John Tucker. (I did always intend his first name to be John btw).
But for me John represents things that I love. He's a Wolf, because I love wolves, The cyber eye is because Cybernetics are awesome. And the metal face plate also represents my love for The Phantom of The Opera. And he has Electrokinesis because what;'s not cool about that. The trademark trench coat he wears was actually the result of a commission involving two other characters and he ended up wearing a coat similar to one of the others so I decided a trench coat suited him better.
As for my inspiration for? Well, Jotie has been around with me since when I first got Pokemon Blue. She originally was an Eevee for a long time, til I got a Water Stone. Ever since then, she stuck around with me. She has went through many changes, up until recently a couple years ago (With only a few additions like glasses and tattoos) but ultimately stayed the same!
Jotie is pretty much one and the same as myself, aside from the obvious choices in colors and anatomy. Even when I have made her something completely different, it just didn't 'feel' right. Growing up, I've always loved rainy days and storms, and I love swimming. And I always have a lazy, relaxed nature, which the Vaporeon seem to fit for me.
Anyhow, I love characters that have been in people's lives forever. It's like a good friend. Imago has been with me for a long time, but my dragon Fyre has been around ever since I was 4. But I love when other people's characters are so much like them, and wow.. I love Eevee's! I loved when they made day and night eevees... The only problem was... I was a night owl. T.T
But love the look of your character. :D
Sadly, I do not remember, and I don't have any of my older pictures nor files from back in the day, but it is definitely possible you have! I think it might of been around 2010 or 2011..? Shoot, I can't remember nor find it either, aaah! XD
Oh yeah, definitely! I don't want to go too deep in details, but Jotie has been with me all my life since my Elementary years! She never really evolved (heh) into becoming my sona, up until around probably 2003? Maybe 2004 at most, when I started to do a lot of writing. Though back then, I didn't even know what an OC was, nor did I know what the internet was just yet til roughly 2006. Gosh... Jotie has went through some wild changes in 2006 and up...
Fun fact: My Vappy never was drawn due to my fear the internet would make fun of me, so I had a girly looking boy elf as Jotie, then ended up becoming a magical fox gal! Jotie didn't fully go back to her original looks as a Vaporeon, until I was introduced to FA and where I met that Pikachu partner of mine! He was one that helped me get comfortable with being myself, and that's when my Vaporeon was reborn! ^^
Aw... I noticed that is a trend sometimes. People didn't want to put their fursonas up online because the furry hate community has some very loud-mouthed people in it. But a lot of people I know started out as elves or just werewolves or were-creatures. (Just because were-creatures are more accepted since they can become human.) But I know what you mean about people making fun. Although, I think I started out as a furry... Although, a furry male... Mostly, because I didn't want anyone hitting on me. (I wouldn't come out as being a real woman until later... Mostly, because when I first came to the internet... It was through playing FPS games like Team Fortress Classic (back in the late 90's early 2000's) and it was easy to just pick a non-female sounding name and it was all typing then... But when mics came out... OMFG... XD
Sorry, I've bored you enough with all that... But I was so excited to check out your gallery and see and hear about your fursona's evolution. :D
Yeah, though that was a long while back in my high school years. Then again, I've never heard of a 'Furry community' before. But yes! I definitely 'started off' as an elf, haha! Hrm... I thought I had it uploaded on here somewhere... I hope I didn't remove it from my gallery. Then again, it's an incredibly old piece and I don't remember the original artist who drew it. And hehe, I actually was a male herm for a good while with my fox! But when I got comfortable, well... now you see where I am at! ^^
Oh god, the mics... XD It reminds me of the days of old with some of the kids on Call of Duty where they get so angry that the entire audio just becomes so distorted and everything! Aaah, good times!
And no no! Actually quite the opposite! It's lovely to hear stories on your end as well! ^^ And I'm glad to hear that! But yeah, I found my elf picture! Though it's on my PC, but not uploaded online anywhere. I may upload it here but put it in my scraps, saying that the artist is unknown, but even then, I don't feel comfortable doing that without crediting the original artist.
XD I'd love to see your elf pic, but I know what you mean about crediting the original artist. (I've been trying to find the original artist of a couple of the adopts I bought.)
She's me, if I was female and a bunny and got to do all the fun kinky sex stuff I wanted to do.
My gallery has more than 500 pictures of her.
I used to roleplay on Furcadia as a male cat, Digan, who was also me.
And because I wasn't having any sex with real people at the time, Digan also did all the fun kinky sex stuff that I would have liked to do.
He was very popular! He'd often be in the middle of a pile of female furries who wanted him to take charge.
I did that, but I wanted to be a female furry on the other side, so to speak.
So, being lazy, I asked one of my female furry friends to create a bunny woman for me.
What to call her, though?
I have a sense of humour. And so the first name I tried was "Dust Bunny". And it worked! Amazingly, it seemed that nobody else on Furcadia had used that name.
So my bunny was called Dust Bunny, nicknamed Dusty.
Later on I came to FurAffinity and started getting art made of her.
But I'm lazy. I didn't want to bother coming up with scenarios for the pictures.
So I outsourced my fursona!
About 400 to 450 of the pictures in my gallery are the result of saying to the artist, "Draw my bunny tied up".
Lots of artists say she's cute. She ought to be. She was created by some of the best artists!
I love all of my characters dearly, but I guess if I had to pick a favorite, it would be my vixen Ciara.
That's pronounced KEER-ah, by the way.
Ciara was originally created to be the protagonist in my first novel, and she has gone on to star in two others as well, plus a few shorter works here and there. Born the bastard child of the former king of Cearnach and his top general, she was raised by her mother and sent into protective exile at the age of 12 to spare her the end of a bloody war. She spent the next 18 years of her life in a different kingdom where she met and married her wife (the girl pictured with her) and built a fairly successful career as a farrier. She has had a number of adventures in her life, and played a crucial role in averting two subsequent wars and, after the death of her father and step-mother in battle, she has inherited his throne, albeit reluctantly. She has a daughter and a younger half-sister, now her ward, whom she adores, and while she misses her old life she is determined to use her position to make life better for all of her people.
She's a red fox/swift fox mix and has purple eyes because I created her when I was nineteen and thought purple eyes were cool. She spent half her life living among rabbits, and finds she often gets along better with them than her fellow foxes. And she's tiny, standing at an impressive 4'9".
Oh, my... I still love purple eyes and I'm old now. XD
I still like purple eyes today, too. Probably half my characters have them now, though I didn't exactly plan that. I just meant it as a bit of trivia, not an excuse.
While none of my characters have it, I've always rather liked the look of heterochromic eyes. They're pretty, and can be really striking!
I still am, but I haven't read a novel in years and I may never read one again. Now I mostly read the Internet.
And I write on the Internet too. I just wrote a comment on one of your other pictures.
I haven't written many comments on pictures because I usually don't know what to say. Or because you've already written a lovely comment on the picture that's nicer than anything I could come with. So why bother saying anything, except maybe 'I agree with Megan', which is kind of pointless because if the artist knows me, they already know that!
So I just fave it. And sometimes I don't do that, because FA doesn't keep all the faves as far as I know. So when I add one, I lose another one. And I hardly look at my Favourites anyway.
I've forgotten what I was talking about now, so I'll stop.
Aw, and that's okay. It's nice to hear from you, and I hope you're having a lovely week!
But it's years since I read one.
What I do now, a lot, is chat on Discord. It's my favourite chat platform and a few days ago I made my own server. I think you'd like it, because it's all about the stuff I like. You don't know what most of that is, because you've only seen the Dusty part of me.
If you want to know more, drop me a note and I'll give you my Discord info.
Aw, thanks. I don't actually have a Discord account, though I sometimes borrow Grace's. Between writing for work and writing for myself, I don't usually have a lot of time for chatting. But if I can ever find the time, it'd be great to get to talk to you. It is hard to get to know anyone from just what they post here, and you've always seemed like a really neat person.
When Disney was creating the Judy Hopps character, they decided to make her look like an ordinary bunny.
But they also wanted her to have something different about her.
So they gave her purple eyes.
They're professional character creators and they think purple eyes are cool!

Back when i was first entering the world of Furry-ism, I was a major fan of How to train your dragon. I had a nightfury sona but not one i wanted to make NSFW. One day however as i was exploring a generic popular gaming arcade in australia, i found a machine with a bunch of knock-off branded dragon toys. Ones that were made by Mojang? and were purple nightfuries? I proceeded to win one from the machine: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/17688271/
After some joking comments about this doll, i brought it to an artist named Makarimorph and asked him to turn him into a Sona: (NSFW) https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18029517/ (NSFW)
Ever since then, i have grown attached to this character completely. He's prideful, he's experimental, he is rich and loved by all. Since he was purple, I decided that he would be an awesome Shifter Dragon in the form of one made of wine. Since he is a shifter, i love to Transform him into different forms from time to time. he's been turned into so many things like a Trex, an otter, a sheep, a shark, a robot, a zombie, a prosecutor... if i haven't turned him into it yet, he will be soon

My dragon is a silly dragon, not really big and even if she gets adult she barley around 1,60-2m
still as she is young she is very active and even enjoys stealing food from time to time! Or collecting little shiny objects.
As she gets older though she gets more calm https://www.furaffinity.net/view/21091908/
the old version in the updated version has just 3 legs because she lost it as she protected a friend, still she is proud about it because she succeded with it.
Beeing mostly blind she is really calm but has a big heart for others but... that means as well that she is able to show fangs if someone she likes gets attacked.
Thats a little summary <3
I upload the finished version soon!
and itยดs uploaded!
Much like Melahphuse above, i am...'otherkin' as well.
I dont know a whole lot but i feel this is me, more or less, in bipedal form. I have a quadruped form but i dont know how to draw dragons :P
However, i do feel this is somewhat "accurate".
I have felt a sense of GREAT importance though, but cannot identify specifically.
So, how does your draggie act? Cool? Kind? Reserved? How did you come up with him?
I spent some time on making this guy. While he is not the first character I made, Arctic most represent me. He's a bit of who I am and want to be. The initial species I had in mind was a Snow leopard, but I felt more connected to a fox. The red/arctic mix has been a constant. The pattern got changed to what it is now some years ago.
As for story, I kinda got variants of him depending on the universe I drop him into.
I recycled his old pattern into a different character. It's not that I did not like it. That pattern just did not feel like it fit him. The old pattern became her: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/26925421/
