There's a site that monitors the perceived worth of villager popularity and how many bells or nook miles tickets people are willing to exchange for them.

As of the current list published May 23rd 2020, Yuka is actually dead last. :P

I am aware of that site, I just don't want to SELL any of my villagers, that seems bad to me.

I noticed she is dead last, I didn't hate her, I just don't like koalas. But as far as koalas are concerned Yuka is the only one I like.

I also like how I have 2 villagers in the top 15 and have seen 3 of them, Zucker, Stitches and Beau. =P

Yeah, I also don't agree with the practice. I occasionally invite guests to come and re-home someone who's moving out.
Not everyone was able to be re-homed though.

It looks like Yuka climbed up to the middle of tier 5 anyway, so it was probably more like a data thing than actually being disliked. :P
Coincidentally, I got a message in a bottle from Yuka on my island today, it was for a natural stone wall I think.

According to that site, I only have a single Tier 1 villager, Bob. :P
With Cherry being a Tier 2 villager.
Kid Cat is a Tier 3, along with Phoebe and Octavian.
Dotty is just Tier 4, which I can understand, she's a personal favourite of mine but has never been widely appreciated.
The rest are tier 5 or 6. What did surprise me was that Blanche is only tier 5, I thought she'd be more popular. It might be that her default ACNL outfit is not as nice as her ACNH outfit.

Again though, it's all subjective about who you'd like on your island, or in general.
I think I might actually prefer to have Blanche on my island rather than Ankha

That site also lets you look at popularity of villagers by personality type, but not by species for some reason.
But in general, lazy villagers appear to be much more popular than snooty villagers.
Cranky don't seem particularly popular.

Yeah, especially with the insane payment some people ask for.
I would like that with Celia, but kicking her out would still hurt...

Also second thing, the 3 I am looking for, Olivia, Kid Cat and Phoebe are all lower tier, so IF I got into the buying villagers phase of desperation I can afford all of them with ease. =3
