apparently I want people to die ...

... because I'm questioning science with logic.
Consider this...
There is a stronger correlation of Corona Deaths in Red/Blue counties than there is in population density.
Blue counties (which typically have tighter lockdowns) are experiencing more deaths than red counties (which are experiencing lighter lockdowns). Big cities in Texas, for example, have not been hit as hard (generally very mildly, really).
Pair this with a total absence of the PREDICTED SECOND SPIKE among states that have reopened ...
Taking the above two points ... there's kinda 2 approaches of how you could analyze the data ...
Personally, I think it's a lot more arguable that the lockdown caused more direct corona deaths than it helped
...
Alternatively you could take the Simpsons Bear Patrol logic

My own hunch follows what I've heard with people who have been working in "essential businesses" ... the few businesses that are open are seeing more sales and traffic than they do during Black Friday ... which basically means you're funneling more people through to fewer locations. ... In other words, it's like finding out there's a poopie in the punch bowl, so you're keeping everyone safe by making people wait single file line for a single punch bowl. Don't change the fact that there's a poopie in the punch bowl.
Let alone the fact that if you keep people stressed out and cooped up inside - they'll trash their own immune system. People are afraid to go to the doctor because of THE CORONA, so now child immunizations, cancer diagnosis, diabetes checkups, and a whole host of other preventative visits are on the decline ... and that ain't good! Lower immune systems means more illness ... which ... hey, look that ties into my first point about how lockdowns are likely getting more people sick than they're keeping healthy.
Also, did you ever hear of quarantining the healthy before this pandemic?
I hadn't. You're supposed to quarantine the sick to protect the healthy.
Here's the data source for a lot of this. it's a bit cumbersome to follow (he's not a great writer) but it's in there.

Of course, there's an essential problem here... people have bought into this lockdown with religious fervor (enough to justify letting the police bully them around like good little submissive bitches). So there will be the crazies who comment in this journal saying I want people to die (the same crazies who only comment in response to journals because they don't know how to socialize other than to bitch) ... I'm more just trying to get normal people to think about this in a different light.

you're not even questioning science, you're using science to question the emotional bullshit.

OP
that's not what the emotional fucktards are telling me. XD

~ginzburg
I think the emotional fucktardness of them is preventing them from seeing it correctly lol. It's got a lower death rate that fucking influenza for god sake.

OP
anything with a lower populace death rate than suicide should be written off of permissible, tbh

~ginzburg
eh, not really in my opinion. If influenza was properly tracked it blows suicide out of the water. Yet I would still say we should run business as usually despite that. People gonna die regardless of what you do.
