Interesting. I see it's for use in Forgotten Realms world. Only one comment, well, make that three: One, does the Shadowfell start "working" on the cleric right after a deity forsake him/her? Two, a cleric need to pray in order to get spells (from a deity), so how does a forsaken cleric acquire spells? And three, what about non good aligned deity forsaking a cleric? Different mechanism? By the way, have fun!

1: I would presume so as maybe another voice in their head, possibly as a faceless shadow that maybe only they can see, it could any number of things you want it to be. 2: I wouldn't say pray anymore, rather that the shadowfell implants the spells inside their mind during the periods when a forsaken cleric changes spells. 3: possibly, but you could also explain that in these cases, the cleric wanted to fall prey to the madening voice of the shadowfell. Maybe in character as a evil alined cleric, maybe every so often, a dark voice interupt their normal thoughts, maybe asking "why do they need a god? we are stronger without them" or something like that. There's a lot of roleplay potencial in a forsaken cleric you might enjoy. and I am doing, creating all these classes and subclasses. D20 also uploaded the summoner and celestial guardian if that would interest you and if you please, by all means try out the subclass and let me know how they play.
