Hey everyone!
Sorry I've not been active at all over here, I've been dotting activity only on Twitter really, as I felt I needed to not only recover physically but also mentally after everything that went down. I lost a relative to COVID (who I didn't come into contact with) and have had other relatives in hospital, but thankfully made a recovery. Once it hit the North West, so many people I know and love were effected pretty badly and I absolutely believe England itself is not ready to move forward and slowly open again. I still work in my retail job, and I actually got paid for the time I had to take off. My partner and I were the only ones effected in my household, we stayed away from others for 16 days total, my sense of taste and smell are in and out even now but not nearly as bad as they were!
So, I'm feeling much better. I had a lot of time to just cool my head and focus on myself. Played a bunch of Warcraft and only really took on one commission during that time (and I only finished it yesterday since we both agreed I should take my time with it) I'm feeling much more up to drawing now and I'm more accustomed to having family home all the time haha, as part-time freelancer I'm usually alone in the house a lot so it was heavy having everyone around all the time but I've adjusted xD My introverted butt was panicking at first aksdgjlhdsgf
Anyway, I also wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who reached out and left comments and such, even people who came over to Twitter to ask, too. It really meant a lot, and made me feel less alone in my head, they were nice reminders that I'm more than just someone who posts a picture or 2 online. So thank you. From the bottom of my heart. <3
I sincerely hope you are all feeling alright and that this whole situation hasn't been treating you badly, and that you've found some form of comfort. The world is fragmented right now, but remember to take care of YOU, too.
