Nominated for the 2020 Good Furry Award - Please Vote!
If anyone's interested: I've been nominated for a "Good Furry" award based on the research I've been doing on the furry fandom for the past decade! :) It's at the voting stage, and if you think the research and advocacy we've been doing for the fandom warrants it, feel free to vote for me (or for any of the other wonderful furs on this list! Truly, it's an honour even to be nominated!)

You've been quiet for a while, since that livestream. How's the lockdown treating you, cat?
At last, you got out of the back wood sticksville place you were working at in the US!
Still waiting for you to attend FWA (that'd be the only reason I'll go to a con ever again).
I was actually hoping to meet up with you and/or some members of your research team at AnthroCon (where I was on panel programming), but obviously, that will have to wait for another occasion. I'm curious: have they committed to online-only instruction for the fall at your new institution? Those discussions are still in progress at mine.
Alas, all of our research / convention plans were cancelled this year, including AC. Though there's always next year, and I'd be happy to meet up with you! :3
At the moment, they've not committed to anything yet. Our current marching orders are to prepare for a "hybrid" fall semester with a combination of online and in-class (whatever the heck that means - no one can seem to give us a clear answer as to what the expectations will be). For now, I'm preparing for online-only, since that's the tougher of the two to prepare. Worst case scenario, I can adapt to in-class on the fly as needed.
Anyway, hopefully the voting will tilt in favor of at least one of us. I mean, who doesn't want $500 and that sweet trophy?
Good luck!
