The Basics. [It's not politics, its HUMAN RIGHTS.]

I've been mostly been busy with real life stuff; Being told a year and a half into this position that "oh, didn't you know, just because you can leave when you've finished your duties on the weekend shift doesn't mean you don't have to work 40 hours a week." No, I didn't know, because none of y'all said jack about it this entire time. So I'll be working 9+ hour days for the next month, during a pandemic, during escalating social unrest. Fun!
Hey now, speaking of the latter, yes, I'm going to be posting a journal about this too. Tired of seeing these journals? Direct your displeasure towards the unjust system that necessitates it.
If your response to seeing another person who you likely only follow because they post stuff that tickles your pickle point out that #BlackLivesMatter is any of the usual ""not racist"" responses such as;
-'All lives matter' (The point of BlackLivesMatter is that all lives SHOULD matter, but in our corrupt and systemically racist system, they do not.)
-whataboutism regarding looting or protesters responding to police brutality with violence
-otherwise feeling the need to respond with a "but" to the simple statement of "THE POLICE ARE LITERALLY MURDERING PEOPLE ON CAMERA, SHOOTING PROTESTERS, BYSTANDERS AND THE PRESS IN THE FACE, AND ARE GETTING AWAY WITH LITTLE TO NO CONSEQUENCE, THIS IS NO LONGER TOLERABLE"
please, get the fuck off my page. I want nothing to do with people who blithely cheer on the literal military assault of our *actual* first amendment rights.
I'd say 'don't bother telling me you're leaving' but if you do so, hey, I know who to block. I've had my fill of seeing 'uwu sorry to see you've been so brainwashed by meehmeneehmehneeeeh' people with zero self-awareness of their own hypocrisies. 'Neutrality' on this issue at this point is unethical.
Even scumbags like Logan fucking Paul can have the decency to recognize their privilege, take responsibility, and say something.
Listen to those who are being persecuted. Support them however you can. And once again for those in the back.
#BlackLivesMatter
(And trans rights are human rights)

Additionally, state governments were already attempting to force the reopening of several states, which would also lead to a second spike. I'd much rather have action taken along with it.
