When Did FA become such an echochamber?

You cannot tell me that there isn't a single other person out there that is willing to say that RIOTS and LOOTING are bad things. Surely there is someone who thinks that INNOCENTS BEING MURDERED IN THE STREETS is wrong.
I mean you cannot fight something by committing the same horrendous actions.
Profiling and prejudice is 100% wrong for anyone to do to anyone!
Black people, white people, cops, civilians. It does not matter. If you, for even a second, feel hostility or ill will towards someone simply because of an insignificant aspect of their lives. YOU ARE THE PROBLEM.
Hate me, unfollow me, I dont personally care.
I hate that everything is devolving into madness and no one seems to realize it.
If you feel the urge to go express your outrage and frustrations, please please please PLEASE do it responsibly, safely and respectfully. Burning down innocent business owners establishments and murdering people is wrong. Regardless of which side of this you are on.
(Apologies for this being a bit ranty but honestly, I'm sick of it)

FA+

I'm pro black insofar as thinking the community deserves an equal standard of living as everyone else; I'm also pro cop insofar as being aware that law and order has to be a thing and private property protected. Almost everyone hates me for thinking both those things at once.
Hey, I've seen this fallacy before, it's a classic!

Not all cops are bad and not all protesters are rioters. Are minority from both are the problem and we need to do our best to ensure that they stop hurting innocent people, no matter their skin color. It's what any good person would do.
I know because a friend of a friend was in one a few days ago when police suddenly fired on people with tear gas and less-lethal munitions, which cost him his eye.
The police have overwhelmingly been bringing the violence to the street.
If everyone focused more on the positivity and hopefulness, of the protestors who legitimately want to change things, of the police officers who uphold their duty beyond all else, perhaps things could actually get done. Dont just tear down the world that we have because it's wrong, help build it into something better.
The institution of policing itself dis-proportionately introduces violence into black and brown communities. Minorities in this country are overwhelmingly more likely to have a fatal outcome when they interact with police.
These are not the problems of bad police officers, but of an entire system that is focused on criminalizing poverty and race. I wish we lived in a world where the hope and change I felt in 2012 had led to a better situation for minorities, but it didn't.
Building a better world for people means overhauling the institutions that don't make minorities feel safer. And that means the police.
I myself have thought for a long while on a real solution but it's not so cut and dry as demanding reform and something so complicated requires time.
The point has been made and I believe things will change. Everyone needs to keep the momentum up and make sure that meaningful protest doesnt get twisted into unnecessary destruction.
They are despicable wankers just using it as an excuse.
Unfortunately theres that minority fucking with the overall narrative. From cops to the civilian and its utterly sad. Violence only brings more violence, hate brings more hate.
I support justice and equality above all else as we are all human beings.
The crooked can go fuck themselves on all sides.
I'm glad at the very least that the peaceful protestors are stepping in to stop those being violent. But it's all fucked up. In major incompetence.
1) Demilitarized the police force. They often have the largest budgets in the city compared to other social services.
2) remove “qualified immunity” so its easier to try cops that has misconduct. SCOTUS is looking at that soon.
3) during training, have cops take nearly as many hours in deescalation as they do in weapons training. So far in the U.S, only 8 hours is devoted to it compared to the hundreds of hours in weapons training.
4) if possible, have police force live in near proximity to the neighborhoods they serve. This could help officers connect with the community they patrol. This was an issue in places like Baltimore.
5) don’t tie rewards with arrests.
But these are some of the top of my head.
