there's waiting lists for a table? I did see several artists set up outside the main room at FC this year, its all different next year though. hope to make it myself!

The area outside the main room at FC is their equivalent of artist's alley and those tables go fast and end up with a waiting list too. Like most cons, artist's alley and dealers room are the only places you're legally allowed to sell stuff and take commissions.

I've been planning constantly to go to Fur Fright... but I have no more moneys. It all went into my bus. :O

I've lost my job... Pondering finding another, but right now I'm working for myself as a computer tech.

Ha well if you're ever on the east coast Otakon is a terrific con to hit up. me and  seely usually go to that one.

Your only sure bet is to mail out the form on the very day they start taking table orders. Most cons prioritize orders by the postmark dates, so if you mail it that day it shouldn't matter when they actually receive it.

Most con's do not have a problem with dealers sharing tables, as long as they are informed and you get a sales tax license for whatever state the con is in (or city - ask the con they'll know exactly what you need) - so say you hook up with Fuzzwolf at the Furplanet table at FC as long as he lets the con know that he's doing that everything is fine.

Of course, if you take that example and ask Fuzzwolf you'd probably end up being interviewed or on an episode of Knotcast ...

But yeah, scroll down the list of dealers and see who you know :)

As for AC - Ask Kage (assuming his home is repaired) he's a very good source of information for all things AC, so he can probably say when the lists open ... and if he can't then er ... oh dear ...

Anthrocon has more dealer space so it should be easier to get into the con as a dealer (or artist alley )

They should have an online voting system, tied into FA or something. The artists out of the queue who get the most votes, get a table The first-in, first-served idea is totally unfair.

i think the 1st come 1st served is a fair and reasonable thing. got ta get yo ass togetha, before yo boody gets stuck in the weatha
