Hey I'll have to keep an eye out....looks like there's a whole lot less drama

It's getting pretty active lately! A lot of people are getting pretty fed up with Twitter so there's a pretty big exodus going on right now.

Yeah that's the rub of it for me. I have an innate concern for any online community founded by an exodus because that migration tends to lock itself into the culture in ways that aren't always predictable.

Inkbunny didn't want to be "the cub porn hub" but because it was the only functional and decently designed alternative to FA right about when they brought the hammer down on cub porn, that's pretty much how it's still regarded years later. GAB and Mastodon weren't founded to be "Twitter but for political extremists" but that's the group that was most hungry for a clone around the time Twitter's moderation started pissing them off in particular.

I appreciate anyone that tries to break these social networking monopolies but I can never feel jazzed about being one of the first on the boat.

The rules were a little vague since it said you can’t upload art with the purpose of offending people and that’s like 90% my thing.

I do have one question, tho. do you have to pay Pillowfort for anything while logging in? Just curious.
