I'm really nervous about this... but working up the courage to give it a try.
Recently, I've done a few speedpaints and pieces for friends... I'd like to become more comfortable doing art for others, and feel like a more supportive part of the community.
So, I'm going to try a speedpaint raffle. Starting now, drawing on 6/17/20, around the same time. No entry fee.
Planning to stream the speedpaint on 6/18/20.
I think I can try this, and still make progress on other art, without getting sidetracked or bogged down. If it goes smoothly, maybe I'll try it again, or maybe I'll try an experiment with a YCH, if that's interesting.

And as advice a YCH will be perfect for you. It’s a very good way to draw something you are up to and drawing someone else’s character at the same time ^^

Thanks for the chance. If you're worried, doing speeds and wing-its where they know you've got creative freedom is probably a healthy place to start. If it's known upfront that there's no room for nitpicking, then you should be pretty swell to get to play around. Something to keep in mind while you're doing these practice pieces for friends is at what point you could pause to show a WIP off, if any. Can your mojo start and stop on a piece to do such? Some artists just sit and zoom! Muses be strict mistresses at times but I believe in ya <3
