Best file format to upload stories in?
So like, I've been thinking about what to upload my stories in terms of file formats, whether I should do a docx and just have the story show up in the description, or just do a .txt and let the preview do the work.
Though the thing is with the way I write I very commonly space things apart, especially with dialogue. So I'm not sure what I should use basically.
I tried .txt with my latest story, but if anyone has any ideas of what I should use it would be wonderful to be told!

I usually find .txt to be easier for convenience when reading, but I dont know if it's exactly better for all purposes

I found pdf to be the best over time since txt files can sometimes not work and just show that square and question mark symbol if FA doesn't like how you uploaded the file. Normally I do that and then paste the text into the description as well in case downloading a pdf doesn't work

Plain text format (.txt) is the best for posting on FA. Mainly because of the convenience and ease of access.

OP
I sort of figured this after a long while, anything that makes it more convenient for people probably is the best
