D&D 5e and World Building!
So, I have recently started to try and get a game of D&D 5e going. The plan is to get a group together and play either once a week or bi-weekly online on monday evenings starting at 6-7pm EST (-5 GMT) using Roll20 and D&D Beyond. So far we are three players strong, looking for a DM and a few more players. We are trying to build the setting for the campaign as a group.
If we get more players and DMs for more than one campaign, we would like to try and start a living community. In which, each campaign would take place in different regions of the world we are building. Each DM and player group would create a region. The regions created by each group should either be one large kingdom, two medium kingdoms, or 3-4 smaller kingdoms in size. England, Ireland, and Scotland would be an example of a 3 small kingdom region, while France and Poland would be a 2 kingdom region , and China would be an example of the single kingdom region. But that would require the DMs to communicate with each other with plots and major events that might affect the other games. So I don’t know if this is a good idea or just plan crazy and too complicated...
I have set up a Discord server for the games, as well as a game on Roll20 that I will post some time today in the looking for more listings. If you are interested let me know in the comment and I will note you an invite to both.
