And now this horrible year has taken the family dog away from me. She just became sick a few days ago, and we don't know what it was, or why. And then late last night, she suddenly passed away from it. And this has happened a little more than a month after she gave birth to two puppies; except one of them seems to have the same illness that afflicted her, and I don't know if he's going to make it either.

This year just keeps being cruel to me, and to my family.
