Depression's a bitch

Some of you may know that I had planned to start up my webcomic at the beginning of the year. I had the website to host it all set up, finished around 6 pages of it and sketched out 4 more, and I was confident that all would be ready to go by March '20 at the latest. However, so much stuff started piling on that it plunged me back into a huge downward spiral; beginning with my PC breaking down(we managed to save up enough to fix the broken parts, however working on art is still a struggle, as the current setup tends to overheat a lot and slow to a crawl frequently as well)
followed by multiple health scares, including a Corona close-call for my boyfriend- and our vacuum and frige breaking as well, all pushing the replacing of pc parts further and further down the line. I had hoped to be working on my portfolio and my comic on a schedule by now, but things hardly ever tend to go our way in life, don't they? With the current situation, my plans of getting my top surgery have also been cancelled- which is just the cherry on top of it all.
However, I've decided to work through it. I remember fondly the days when drawing was my go-to to vent, and it feels like that spark is finally back at least. Things are still crappy, but we can manage. Once I have another few pages done, I will release them, and permalink my website to keep things nice and neatly organized. I'll be setting up a patreon as well- feels like everyone has one these days, doesn't it? But I hope it'll help me finance my mastectomy, as well as just regular life. It's every artists dream I think to be able to live off their art, and do what they love. It is very much mine, at least. I am still trying to figure out how to give people the best experience though. If people support me, it should be worth their time and money, after all.
That's it for now lovelies, I do hope to pick up the pace and post more regular updates.
