To travel or not to travel...

Nim yau travelers:

Due the events of Covid-19, probably I have to cancel *again* the travel to Spain due Perú closes its borders until July 31st and Europe is planning to block the entrance to Americans (of the American continent) and Russia, and each country with many infected people. Curious measures if English and Germans are going to Spain to spend their holidays...

I bought already the ticket but I need to confirm with the air flight company if I´m going to travel or not. I have tried to call this morning but all lines are blocked, either their website say anything.

I don't know what will happen...

Maybe the best thing to do is to cancel your ticket.
As far as I know from living in Europe Spain is in the danger zone and I wouldn't like to lose a great artist like you to something like it.
if It's really neccesairy you go, but if the trip isn't important or neccecary and you still can cancel I would do it to be sure

Thank you for the sugestion. Yeah I know but Peru isn't the best place either. We're after Spain in number of infected people and we have less population. The public hospitals are already crowded and the private ones are expensive. Anyway my trip of Spain were to help my mother with some stuff there, but if I go there I can't be back due Peru and Europe are closing the borders. Oh, and thank you very much for your kind words ^^

I know, just my mother is having some troubles in Spain and I was going to help her. At last the situation is overwhelming and we'll see what happen

Lo sé, pero es que mi madre me necesita allá para acabar con unos papeleos y con ello terminar una cuestión con mi ex. No es un viaje de placer.

Because people NEED the sun of Spain... anyway Mrs. Merkel said she will not send airplanes to save its citizens if they get sick in Spain

Best to see about rescheduling your trip to a later date. A lot of countries are simply reacting to the spread of the virus and taking measures they see fit to curbing it.

Yeah, I know. I bought the ticket few months ago before the pandemic and Peru closes the borders few days of my travel date. >.<

As far as I know, the EU has released a list of countries that can travel to Europe. If yours is not there, everything will be okay I hope

But there are some doubts I should check in the embassy. There are some announcements where some companies have been accepted to do some flights.

Ask your contacts in Spain if the government is gonna put you in a mandatory quarantine the moment you set foot in there. If that happens you better cancel your flight. Two weeks in isolation for a weekend visit is a pain in the ass.

The quarantine is in the address where I will stay, that is a house in the outskirts of my born city. I´m going to help my mother with some family stuff, not for pleasure.

Well, then. Better hurry up and go there. The way things are now I wouldn't be surprised at all if by the middle of the month there's another absolute border shutdown.

La verdad yo creería que lo mejor es posponer el viaje por ahora, a no ser que sea algo realmente importante es mejor no correr riesgos, aunque también todo depende del lugar donde estés residiendo ahora mismo.

Ya lo sé. No me gusta la idea de ir en ésta situación pero si voy es para echar una mano a mi madre con un tema que se me quedó pendiente en España. Una vez pasado esto, mi plan ya es recoger lo que me queda allí y traérmelo a Perú.
