It’s...always truly saddening when I hear that someone’s dog died or had to be put down. Especially at a young age. Been there myself.
I’m truly sorry for your loss. Just know that he loved you with all his heart, and now he’ll be watching over you wherever he is.
What kind of dog was he?

he was a half sheltie/golden retriever, a perfect 50/50 from two separately purebred parents. my sister got him from her friend, so it's possible there's a family history of cancer or something there we didn't know about. it sucks, but we made his last week as good as we could. i got him an entire bacon cheeseburger from five guys just for him, and when i told the guy there it was for my sick dog he loaded it with bacon for him, haha. then a couple hours before we left to take him to the vet my dad let him have some chocolate brownie. sample all the earth's delicious poisons before you go, buddy 😭

You gave a very good boy a very good life! And fulfilled his hearts desires for all the relishes human foods that he shouldn’t be eating. A dogs dream come true indeed! You gave him the love that he deserved. Just stay strong, because he may be gone, but he still lives within you and watches over you from above.

My year started off with me and my roommate losing our dog. Even though the reasons were different it really set the mood for the year...and we can all see how this year turned out.
