Welcome to the old side !

It can be a hard one to handle, especially when you know your own potential. But it can also be the year where you stop holding yourself up to an arbitrary standard of what a successful life is supposed to be. It's certainly a year where your definition of "old" begins to radically shift.

You've still got plenty of time, talent, and potential. That hasn't changed. Just an extra candle or two and maybe a little less bounce-back after the party. And you've got plenty of "party" left in you. Try and have some fun with it and happy belated b'day!

Hey, 30 isn't bad. I'm about to hit 35 myself and I can tell ya that I'm glad I started learning new habits when I did. Be awesome!

I never looked forward to any birthday after 30, but being le old isn't too bad. Take care of yourself though, people care about ya.

There's nothing inherently wrong with that feeling - I think it's one that the majority of our generation has experienced. It's difficult not to compare my life experiences with those of my parents and not feel a bit depressed, personally... I imagine it's the same for a lot of us who came of age in the 2000s.

Even so, happy belated birthday. 😊

*Embraces* I do understand your thoughts on said matter and still find it to be a rather annoying turn-out due to how everything keeps constantly changing and not always for the better. However, do continue to be patient and wait for that opening that you know is absolute, then hit it and claim it with conviction in all your actions.
