Aw man, I hope your recovery goes smooth! Had mine scheduled last March but Covid delayed it instead, and now it's just been cancelled until some other time. Good to get it all taken out now in your case, I hope it'll mean a ton less strain on you in the future.

IF ITS ANY CONSOLATION mine was also cancelled intitially due to covid. but i guess bc my estrogen levels spiked on the last bloodwork (surprise, treating me as cis isnt getting the results theyre looking for.........) i was hustled in.

tho like absolutely it hurts less than any given menstruation cycle to have this surgery. im like, a week plus two days out now and its like the most minor ache. but even at the 'worst' it was like 'ah, mild cramping and i must take care to remember my abdomen is not whole right now. lol'

For my kiddos, my bf and I have been thinking of setting up a tent on their bed for funzies! Actually borrowed that idea for the comment since it would keep the kitties at bay a bit XD

Camping up here in Alaska has been great so far this year. Tons of space and getting out of the house while having some good bbq. :3
