surprise surgery
ok it was less surprise more just 'slightly earler than previously expected due to covid' surgery. but i guess thats what happens when ur organs show they refuse to stop producing a hormone that is food for my cancer woooooo
so im healing now from 3 little incisions in my abdominal wall (one in my bellybutton...ow) and a couple snips on the inside. if someone could get it through the cats' heads that stepping directly on those incisions is not helping me heal, i'd greatly appreciate that.

Also hope it goes well and that you heal swiftly!
and thankfully now they can walk on me with only minimal (like, hold-your-breath style) pain. horray!
Hopefully they can step it down a few notches.
they absolutely fussed over me the whole time i was on chemo lol
for a while there i was using my switch. it heats up pretty good so it was both protective and soothing lmao

This sounds like a potential AMA comic.
tho like absolutely it hurts less than any given menstruation cycle to have this surgery. im like, a week plus two days out now and its like the most minor ache. but even at the 'worst' it was like 'ah, mild cramping and i must take care to remember my abdomen is not whole right now. lol'
Edit: Just caught up on the comments. Glad things are healing up!
Camping up here in Alaska has been great so far this year. Tons of space and getting out of the house while having some good bbq. :3
