Hi, guys. I hope everyone is healthy and well. Just a simple update to let you all know where I'm at.
I've just finished assembling my pc. So, I haven't had the chance to spend any time on my art over the weekend. The weekend to me is crucial, as it's the only real chance I get to dedicate time to my passion. However, this upgrade is something I really needed to undertake during that window of golden silence.
Like I said, it was an assembly. So, a brand spanking new motherboard, CPU, ram and an nvme boot drive. I'm still sticking with my current GPU, PSU, HDD and system case however.
This build is actually a milestone for me as I've always built Intel systems. For the first time AMD had everything I was looking for, so ceramoniously ditched team blue. At one point, it was impossible to imagine a CPU with more than 4 cores occupy the mainstream space.
In any case, what this means is I can improve my workflow and continue making more quality art for you all.
In case you're curious, the full specs are as follows.
Motherboard : Gigabyte Aorus X570 Master.
CPU : AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT.
Ram : 64GB (2X 32GB) Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO Black PC4-28800 (3600).
Boot Drive : Samsung 970 PRO M.2 NVME 1TB.
Mass Storage : Western Digital Green HDD 3tb.
GPU : GTX 1080TI Founders Edition.
PSU : Coolermaster V1200 Platinum.
Chassis : Coolermaster Cosmos C700P.
I'm currently working on a commission for a friend. However, I can't really do that until I get Photoshop reinstalled and the graphics tablet drivers sorted ^^;
