And yes, Patreon is pretty wretched these days. There's a lot of censorship going on as well as mass account bans for NSFW creators.

Patreon has done some shady stuff in the past few years, aint gonna lie

But they were small and not much of a bother back then for me



However this recent rumour is where I say "Thats it, Im done with them"


Really dont wanna get into the whole thing because knowing my dumb luck I'd probably be one of those that'll get affected by this thing too

There's speculation for about a month now and its about artists being forced to leave because Patreon is rumoured to be CLAIMING other peoples artworks, not by Patreon only, but even on other sites of the artists, yes they had to get out of their own site and act as if they're stalking these artists and watch over them like they got an assassin contract on their head. Forcing them to alter their direction of content COMPLETELY just to appease to them. If this is true, then this is some of the most illegal bullshit tactic Ive seen in a long time

So unless the rumour is debunked or Patreon themselves addresses the matter, a lot of people including myself will potentially leave them

For now, Im keeping my head up high on this because this is some serious illegal shit they'd be pulling off if these rumours are true

I heard one or two artists are planning on bringing them to court and such, so again, unless this is clarified, Patreon isnt gonna last long for me
