We have Lost a Civil Rights Giant
General
Living Legend Congressman John Lewis has passed away, leaving behind a Civil Rights legacy who's value is incalculable. He was the
last person alive who was front, and center with Martin Luther King Jr and widely believed to be his spiritual, if on t physical heir. He
was also one of the first people injured on Bloody Sunday; a peaceful protest in Selma, Alabama that was met with violent force from
the authorities. Once he was elected to congress, he continued the fight for equality, earning a great deal of respect. One of the last
things he did was visit the huge Black Lives Matter sign, painted on a Washington DC street in curb to curb letters. Sir, this world
will be that much poorer, without you.
