I want it plainly known that I will NEVER, EVER allow ANYONE to use my creations, artwork, characters, or anything else in random writing, or in artwork without written permission.

I never allow my characters and creations and art to be used in writing that I don't create myself.

I only allow my characters to be drawn in commissions I personally purchase, art trades I do, or gift art -if- the person runs the idea by me first to make sure I'm okay with said picture's content, but even then it will only be of themes I am clearly alright with, based off my personal art gallery and its contents.

Please be aware that some people might try to use my characters and artwork in writing, art, or other things I am against, against my will and against my permission, illegally. I try my hardest to prevent this from happening, but in the end I can only control my own actions.

Thank you for reading, I felt the need to address this.

It honestly sucks that people do this.
namly those RP accounts on twitter, they refuse to do anything you ask too, it sucks...

sorry that you're dealing with this bud, hopefully people will read this and understand not to belive stuff they see when people pretend to be your characters.

Clever thieves can usually remove those, and some folks feel that watermarks and signatures ruin the aesthetic of a piece.

That doesn't help as much as one would like. The majority of the time, the account isn't "claiming that they drew it." In fact, they don't care who drew it. They simply use it as a representation of themselves.

I just went through something like this where an account was using basically any picture of dominant elephants as representation of themselves. Thankfully, he took my pictures down after I reported him, but he still has a lot of artwork that isn't his on his page.

i've seen a lot of theft's on face book using your art work as there own character's that don't belong to them, so i'll keep my eye's out on that as well to.

I be honest with you, I find some of your character designs very clever and nicely done but I would not go through the means to illegally do anything like that nor I can't see how others doing this feel like its okay. I admit I still kind of wanted to draw one of your characters but in means of a gift or I want to do but nothing else. I don't blame you for going in this direction and hope things only improve.

This is the reason why I'm not a fan of social media websites like Facebook or Twitter; there's too many of these types of people around, and websites like them are easily susceptible to hackers and thieves. That's why I don't feel safe using social media and do my best to avoid interacting with those sites. Stay safe, Hungo. Best wishes.

Sorry to hear this keeps happening. I admit that I have seen several roleplaying profiles on various sites using your work. Thankfully none of them have attempted to claim ownership, but it does strike me as frustratingly rude to use an artist's work without asking their permission (or even trying to commission them).

You're a fantastic artist, and I hate seeing your work abused like this. I am glad for the PSA at least; I'll try to pass it around when I see your work pop up.

This is always a tough thing - so easy to ask permission, and yet people just assume someone else's creations are theirs to use. I usually have the very simple gateway of ask first, I'll almost always say yes. And still folks don't. I just want the respect of politely seeking permission. So, sorry if it happens Hungo. Folks should always ask unless you ever give them a blanket okay- which sounds like you don't. Yes, ask, be respectful.

I hate those people. Normaly they are from twitter and that sucks.

Man that sucks , I try to ask artist if I can use their art . Unless it is a commission, I stay away from those. I know how you feel, I can say this because I have two of my commissions being used still till this day. That's why I stopped posting them, because people don't ask me or the artist or respect either party involved in the art.

Sadly with how things work, just because you made a statement about it, there will be people who are going to race into action doing that stuff even more due to the reactions it may or may not cause

I know this is serious, but if I did use your character I would ask and it would only be as fanart! I'm getting the animation juices flowing, trying to psyche myself up to draw/animate one of your characters.
