I mean, have he tried the mayo clinic? That's kind of their thing. Extremely experienced doctors for rare conditions.

There is a "ladder" device they can implant in his neck to help support the vertibre, but I'm not sure if it'll help this specific situation.

I don't know location or insurance but Mount Sinai in NYC. I have had 3 family friends who had either broken back or major neck issues, one fell from a tree, one from a power line pole and one had his car completely crushed severely damaging his neck and back, the one that fell from the tree had several surgeries from other doctors about the country worsening the problem nearly paralyzing him from mid back down and, as a doctor put it, looked like a monkey played with his nerves and for about a decade, no doctor would work on him. They have groups of specialists that are at the top of their respective fields and have very nearly worked miracles, Heck they even saved my mother but that was not spinal they just pulled something off that was amazing. Downside is they come at a high cost but I mean I suppose its worth a try .
