Parts of the convention was overwhelming at times. Both good and bad ways. I knew going into this con that I didn't have a solid plan of what I was going to do when there. This made me rely on others plans, and well that just didn't work out for me. I had a friend yell out "fuck Canada" while I was seated next to him and that got the stink eye from some Canadians <face paws>. Other friend was too much into his own edgyness and was self centered the whole time. Even got called "creepy" when I lost my cool with him (and I really shouldn't have), just move on either way.
But the good very much out weighs the bad. The elements of furry really was a joy to be around. The creativity and light hearted fun and frolic is just the best. I need to remember these things and remember why I wanted to be in the furry fandom not just observe. Next con I will party light and socialize hard. And also to remember just cause someone calls themselves a furry doesn't mean they have the same appreciation of the fandom as I do.
Note to self: Don't loose your way trying to fit in, you sacrifice your creativity and waste a whole lot of time.

I ran into you during one of the smoke breaks. :D
