Extended Thoughts on: Lian Chiu

Compared to the last commission, this was a lot easier for me to write. Furry characters are always more interesting for me to write about than humans, and almost always more fun, though I definitely feel like I've improved on writing purely human TFs. That much was clear during the first half of this character, which was just focused on muscle growth and mental changes. MG is not one of my main kinks, so I don't really know if it hits all the sweet spots for people who're into that. If you're one of those people, lemme know if I did your kink justice!
I don't think it's just the subject matter that helped: I feel that I'm in a better headspace at the moment. It's been rocky, with some wild moodswings, but that's better than just feeling sad all the time. Now all I need to do is control all the influx of emotions I'm regaining!
Here's some general trivia (for real this time):
- I put way too much effort into planning out Lian's name, only for it to be relatively unused. Was thinking about having a name that means Spring, and her final name 'blossoming' into Summer... when I ended up picking a common Chinese girl name and a common Chinese surname, and used it for both forms.
- Therefore, this character may be the first I've written where the character doesn't change their name!
- I've never done anything with sharks before (and possibly not with any marine life in general!), so it was really fun looking up references and conjuring up the image of an animal that's not often anthropmorphised in... less kink-laden lands.
- I had to look up what it was called when you smack your fist with your hand, looking for a fight. Best suggestion I got was 'brain blast'.
- Tool got me started, Lo-Fi Hip-Hop Beats got me through the middle, Joji helped me through the later stages, and Andrew WK led me through the final bits.
- I was worried that I made the mental changes too quick and sudden, before I remembered that I always worry that I made the mental changes too quick and sudden.
Question: What's your preferred method of exercise? I'm fond of walks, and am hoping to get back into badminton.
MUSCLE SHARK, GET SWOOOLE!!
