I think I have a yearly cycle. In late winter, I draw a New Year's card featuring either a cat or the animal of that year. In the Spring, Nakakon inspires me to suddenly start working on Fanart. Consider it a late Fanart February. I also like to do a redraw of Chained/Old Dog to see how much I've improved. I don't draw much in the summer. I'm usually pretty focused on other projects like sculphting, that I usually don't have time for. Then in the fall, near the Moon Holiday, I remember that I have no family so I get lonely and churn out somthing Springdragon related. I also start listening to the songs that my Mother likes, so I start drawing old Chinese pop-music inspired things.

I suppose I don't really get art block when it comes to ideas. Sometimes, I just don't have the patience to really flesh them out as well as I should.

I lack patience immensely. I'm a freaking perfectionist with my art; if it's not JUST RIGHT I erase and start over.

I usually try to push it and make it right. As I go along, I press harder and harder until I may as well just give up on erasing.
