honestly, there's far more in common with the 9/11 overraction that people on the left would want to admit. Bit new scary thing happens (actual pandemic) so people flip out.

Trump had actually fought against state leaders who wanted to keep everything on lockdown. Eventually, a couple months back, he said "fine, I'll leave it up to you and we'll see who the real leaders are."
